On the drive out from Aberdeen to Turriff you
will firstly pass through the village of Newmachar where Newmachar
Golf Club boasts a Championship Course and a challenging 2nd
course.
Next you will pass through the town of Oldmeldrum,
which has two courses, at Meldrum House and at Oldmeldrum Golf
Club.

Meldrum House also
has a very nice restaurant. Oldmeldrum also has fishing and leisure
facilities at Lochter - http://www.lochter.net .
About 15 miles further on you will pass through
the village of Fyvie which has a 9 hole golf course, and the
renowned Fyvie Castle, and nearby Kingscliff Sporting Lodge http://www.kingscliff.co.uk
In another 10 minutes you will arrive in Turriff
to be greeted by a glimpse, over the town, of the view up the
Deveron Valley.
